PC (Polycarbonate) combines optical clarity with exceptional impact resistance — up to 250× stronger than glass. HDT of 135°C. Used in machine guards, sight glasses, electrical enclosures and structural glazing. Note: susceptible to stress cracking with certain solvents and UV degradation without UV stabilisation.
