POM-H

Polyoxymethylene Homopolymer

Standards: ISO 9988, ASTM D4181

FDA EU 10/2011 RoHS REACH

Overview

POM-H (Polyoxymethylene Homopolymer) offers higher stiffness, hardness and a sharper melting point (178°C) compared to POM-C copolymer. Preferred for precision gears, bushings and sliding elements where maximum rigidity is required. Sold as Delrin® (Celanese/DuPont), Sustarin® H (Röchling) and Ertacetal® H (MCAM). Note: POM-H has slightly lower chemical resistance than POM-C and is more sensitive to strong acids.
